Ferneham Hall, Fareham

Invited design competition for Ferneham Hall in Fareham, Hampshire. Both refurbishment and new build schemes were explored for a new community arts centre within the towns new civic masterplan. As well as looking at accessibility and connectivity with the town, the proposals explore the idea of the theatre and public realm as a single space which can be used by local community groups and businesses to generate a more sustainable and diverse programme. Improved backstage facilities were also explored so that the venue could both produce and receive larger shows.
